First Wine Tasting in 2020

In May, 6 months have passed since Costica the Wise 2019 is shaping itself in a Romanian oak barrel.

It is the moment when we can feel the aromas and seasoned with a suitable food we can already form an opinion about how it will be in another 6 months. So, I go nicely to the cellar and sit comfortably on the barrel specially arranged for such moments, I prepare a plateau with cheeses, olives and bread with olive oil and various spices and I start to contemplate :). It would have been nice to have one or two friends to change opinions, but with COVID situation maybe in September we will have this opportunity as well. Its color is good, you can easily feel the oak aroma, and the taste of Othello is unmistakable. As someone told me, Costica's taste is so unmistakable :). So, we let it mature quietly, without "pitroc" this year to see what comes out in November when it is one year old and we bottle it in bottles.
